Form (NPS, 2003/2004): retrieved this project as the PDF already in-hand from the prior packet / NPS gallery. The form quotes the 19 Oct 1935 Independent on Nash-Finch’s office and Christie Transfer’s warehouse — so the federal nomination already knows those names as Sixth Ward warehouse history. It does not list 1316 Bozeman as a contributing resource.
The warehouse that is in the district: Benson-Carpenter Company Building, 1439 North Harris, rubblestone, c. 1896, “the last standing warehouse in the district,” “sole survivor of an extensive complex.” Loading shed, later metal additions.
The sentence that helps 1316: the nomination says residences, businesses, and warehouses immediately surrounding the historic district postdate the first railroad generation — i.e. the listed box is the core; the warehouse belt continued east. Bozeman Avenue is east of N. Harris. City historic-district GIS (prior brief, 2026-08-11) returned zero historic-district hits on this parcel.

Individual listing / local landmark: not found, not applied for. That is a choice, not a fact about the building. The 1935 stone-warehouse repair + Sanborn (once read) + being the sibling of the last listed warehouse is the argument an HPO would want — if the project ever chooses that path. This packet does not file a nomination.
The building is in the renewal district you already drew, next to the depot district you already listed, and it is older than the last stone warehouse that district was able to list (Benson-Carpenter, c. 1896, 1439 N. Harris). The 1884 Sanborn already shows a 76-by-200-foot stone Kleinschmidt warehouse on these lots. It took the 1935 earthquake and was repaired, not replaced.
